First amusement park in India, Appu Ghar is the favorite of all children because it is a great roller coasters and water slides. Mini-Disneyland of Delhi was inaugurated on November 19, 1984. It is a pleasure to ride for all ages. Wide selection of swings and rides, including Roller Coaster, Big Splash, Auto Track Bumper Cars, mysterious tunnel, the giant wheel and Appu Columbus. Children love the thrill of riding a cable car and accelerate Cup. Since there is no snowfall in New Delhi, games ice oysters (water park) are very popular. Four hectares of water park, offers ice-covered luge, skiing, ice boating and bowling is a craze among Delhiites. Couples love to dance and romance, Rain Dance or dancing on ice that have been introduced for the season.

 This water park is especially appreciated by the people to repel the heat of summer. Today, Appu Ghar has become a brand among all amusement parks in the country. Located at No. 4 doors in Pragati Maidan, and intends to open two more locations Rohini and Noida. This amusement park was the dream boy Smt. Indira Gandhi. He realized that the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi inaugurated the day of his birthday in 1984. Appu Ghar is spread over an area of 15.5 hectares of land and houses of 22 popular games. It is an interesting story behind the name of the park. Appu, the elephant, was both a pet and live elephant mascot that became the beloved star of the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi. Consequently, the park is named for the mascot name.
